Sustainable financing planning in improving the quality of education at pesantren

Abstract

This study aims to analyze financing planning as an effort to improve the quality of education. The place that became a case study was at the As-Syarifiyah Islamic Boarding School Karawang. Through a qualitative approach, this study explores the financing planning strategies applied by these educational institutions, as well as their impact on the quality of education. The data collection method involves in-depth interviews with Islamic boarding school administrators, teachers, and parents of students. These measures are implemented to meet educational needs, including curriculum renewal, procurement of facilities and infrastructure, and improvement of educator qualifications. The impact of this financing planning is reflected in improving the quality of education, which is reflected in student academic achievement, developing extracurricular programs, and increasing community involvement. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of financing planning practices which is sustainable to improve the quality of education in similar institutions.
